For individuals or teams in metropolitan areas which are defined as Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and those radio networks broadcasting nationwide.

To recognise excellence in on-air presentation across the award year.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
This award is made to individuals or teams who display an outstanding ability to engage, inform and entertain their target audience.

BROADCAST OUTPUT REQUIREMENT
Maximum 10 minutes, linking elements are allowed however special effects and other audio enhancements are not, music must be telescoped.

WRITTEN DEMONSTRATION
Not to exceed 600 words but may be supported by additional letters and branding material.

A 10 Points	BROADCAST OUTPUT Audio evidence of the shows effectiveness with its target audience. This will include the ability to inform, educate and/or entertain.
B 8 Points	Connection with the audience (audience involvement).
C 10 Points	Relevance, credibility and originality in delivery.
D 8 Points	Clarity and quality of presentation style.
E 2 Points	WRITTEN DEMONSTRATION Statement of objectives - a bullet point summary of what the show achieved in the award year.
F 10 Points	Target audience ratings trend data showing current and previous year results (minimum 15 year age span).
G 2 Points	Additional written material that may include marketing and promotional material and press cuttings. Letters and/or affidavits of support.
