Best Spoken/ Informational English Language Programme

This award is presented to a programme that is predominately talk based and in English. Can include a selection of content – news, community news, music of that community, interviews, chat and cultural content (eg. Poetry, Festivals etc)
 
AWARD OBJECTIVE
• To recognise the importance of broadcasting that serves minority community interests.
• To recognise excellence in broadcasting on Access radio stations.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
These awards are made to programmes broadcast on Community Access licensed stations only and reflect the value of community access broadcasting to their communities of interest. These communities may include cultural and social minorities, special needs and special interest groups within the wider New Zealand society. Programmes should be by, for and about the target community.

BROADCAST OUTPUT
• Audio duration maximum is 30 minutes.
• Music may be shortened if necessary.
